Hots Rock doing it again!

SATURDAY 1st August sees another great concert from the "HOTS ROCK" girls, this time at CAT-Creations Arena.

MAKE A NOTE IN YOUR DIARY and make sure you are there by 12pm SL August 1 to enjoy this SPECTACULAR concert, given by the girls with the TRUE ROCK SPIRIT, or come early and enjoy one of the greatest DJs ever in SL as well, and make this an unforgetable afternoon/evening.

"HOTS ROCK" not only brings you some of the best known girl anthems but also gives you their unique versions of songs from the greats, such as the Eagles, AC/DC, Bryan Adams, plus there will be many others as their repertoire grows, so keep an eye on when and where these girls perform.

Each of the girls in this new ALL GIRL line up have already been involved in the music scene in SL with various bands and now bring their talents together to give you all something NEW and very SPECIAL. Something that you will definitely remember.

We have done plenty of weddings at the icehotel. All of them are unique, depending on what requests the wedding couple have. Simple as that. We have done Gothic, traditional, Vamps you name it... BUT last week we had a meeting with a couple with fantastic idea of how to do an unforgetable cermony with this you tube film as a base:)

I dont have to mention they own some clubs in SL!

I have 100´s records, several 1000´s on my pc but very few with Michael Jackson. He was never one of my favs so to say..
But I got this Bounce tribute the Michael Jackson from Ewa and I got goosebumps. This is not one of those spooky things flying around on the Net, this is real and its so good!

The guests fled in panic when Ewa started to beat up her husband with rolling pin....

The two avas have reported the other to the police and social welfare is investigating the whole situation!

Yesterday we had the complete overhaul and it was like a typical one:)

Anyhow tonite at 11.30 AM SLT we start the party with me DJing and at 12:00 PM HOTS ROCK will enter stage for the first time in the metaverse. Well these ladies are not any spring chickens; Cheliux Aero (ex Rockrose), Ewa Aska (jack of all trades) and the others have lots of experience!

Today we have upgraded the chilly but cosy icebeds in the hotelrooms! When you stay here next time you notice a huge difference, the beds are now stuffed with XPOSE animations. Thanks for your help Winona Wiefel! (ofcourse she is member in our in-world group)

No more babel of tongues in Second Life

I guess you all have stumbled into it, babel of tongues’ in SL.

But there is an ofcourse solution in our technical world and Appollo Manga has done a review of some of the translation HUDs which are available in SL.

Ewa and I, don’t use these much, if we i.e. have a meeting with a French designer, and the barriers are too high we simply tp Ewas French speaking sister who acts an interpreter. Its more fun that way! :)

Thank god we bought a private full sim

When Ewa and I bought the Icehotel SL-sim we didn’t know what we did to be honest. We knew that we didn’t want that kind of sim we had earlier (anyone remember the sim crash?) but none of us are the manual-reading type. We just took a shot in the dark really. But what a lucky-shot!

Yesterday we also decided to buy another sim and put it together with the public one we have. This move will take place in September.

Yesterdays Evergreens Show with Carmen Roeth would have been disaster on another type of sim. We were almost 60 at the sim at the same time without much lag. More than 100 during the whole event. And Yes! we really partied all night! When did we went to sleep babe? 3 am our time? The birds twittered loud and clear outside anyway

However, thanks Carmen for a great show and thanks all guests coming. We have tons in pipeline so check this site up and join our in-world group!

Summer time=time for restoration

Can someone explain why linked and locked prims are moving? Anyway this week we have been doing alot of resrestoration works at the sim. It was very necessary since most of the builds was full of cracks!

But we have also fixed some new light sets to the ballroom. Thank god we dont have to pay the electricity bills....

Ikaros Strings got the age!

One year in SL is long time, for sure more than one year in RL, some says its like 4-6 years. Well I dont know:) However yesterday was Ikaros rezzparty, a surprise one organized by Svessa and Wizanna Hax and probably some more creative avas, since it was a hell of good party!

New beds at Icehotel SL!

Some weeks ago we bought a new anim bed from Prime Furniture and it was totally marvelous! And believe me I know what I am talking about. I have seen them all and I even build beds myself. So my go-ahead wife contacted the norwegian builder, Winona Wiefel. And today we had a meeting at the Icehotel SL.

Winona will make some tailor made ones for the cottages and some new anims for the hotelbeds!

This will be great. Naturally we celebrated the new co-operation in the wine-cellar. Wherelse?

Autopilotpatty Poppy is really old time friend that happend to move her galleria the day before we went ashore:)

Lady Poppy owns a fine art gallery, Poppy's Place Galleria She has offered free gallery space to many new and established artists in SL since her first gallery opened in 2006 and if she still do I dont know. She is a photographer in RL as well as in SL. In SL she specializes in unique portraiture work. She has work on display in permanent exhibits in the AHO gallery at the NMC campus and at the 2nd Louvre Museum.

First stop: Cheen Pitney

Today we are travelling around and checking out what our friends been doing recently. First stop was Blackwater Sculpture Art Gallery where Cheen has some of his sculptures. At Blackwater you can find many of the top ones in SL: Starax Statosky, Cheen Pitney, Light Waves, Masterful Escape, Madcow Cosmos, LittleToe Bartlett, Pavig Lok, Osprey Therian, Nomasha, Stella Costello, Stormy Roentgen, Ub Yifu and Loki Ball.

Oh my god what a day! haha still laughing here...

What have we been doing today? Hmmm I think, well I know, we started with some morning exercises. Then we made the ballroom quite ready for the Sunday Show...hmm and then Ewa bought new dances (Sinwaves)for a HUGE amount of money (please tip us well on Sunday, we are close to the edge now haha). I booked both Noma Falta (A New Orleans show) and Jean Munro(for a Moonlight show) We explored the Berlin sim and found some very interesting pinball maschines where we had some more exercises and then we went to see Noma F......ohhhh this must be the worst post so far on this blog!
