A message from Kay

I think "julgransplundring" is a Swedish tradition. If not please tell. However, "Julgransplundring" is a party when the christmas tree is stripped from all decorations (!).

According to tradition, this festival takes place 20 days after Christmas. The background to this is well that there was hardly any pine needles left and the Swedes are taking every opportunity for a party.

Do you think this sounds interesting then you are cordially invited to the Swedish julgransplundring on Wednesday 13 January!

Thank you very much Lensi and the Raj Raj crew for yesterday's party!

They arranged a rezzday party for avis born in early 2007. Apparently, Dagens Nyheter had impact on us. Back then anyway;)

Your best time is now

In January 2007, it was a big article in Dagens Nyheter (Sweden's largest daily newspaper) about Second Life. I read the article and remembered my failed attempt to get in Second Life the summer of 2006.

But January 12, 2007 it worked reasonably well. I came in and did the horrible Help Island tec. My ava was born that have gave me so much joy over 3 years!

But the best time is always now, it is said, and I can certainly endorse it!

The second life which I have right now is incredible good! I have a fantastic wife and companion through my second life. Thats what counts the end of the day.

The picture was taken February 5, 2007 and is the first picture that I took in SL. Probably because I thought it was embarrassing not to have a profile picture. I was vain even then:). The picture was taken outside of my fav club, The Lava Pit. Where you could devote your time gambling, dancing and body building(!). A wonderful mix of most things, like Second Life should be!

RESUME

Playing at places other than "home" is actually incredibly fun. Yesterday we played at Live Limburg, owned by Edwin Hoorenbeck. A nice guy who had his eyes on us for some time. It was an "awful" lot of people (72 persons) at the same time. Of course there are problems with such a large number of people. But ABBA Sweden can not do much about that. Other than rejoice that people obviously like what we do.

Anyway it was great fun. And especially cool is that so many of you are coming back week after week!

Tired and happy Ewa and Jesper went home for various relaxation exercises. But full of adrenaline it was difficult to fall asleep so we decided to finish the evening with good friend Noma Falta who played at Wise Guys!
